We are are a fledgling 501(c)(3) not-for profit dedicated to celebrating nature through the presentation of powerful media, especially high definition videos, sound recordings, photographs, and associated text.
We are planning a variety of projects that focus on “nature near hand,” meaning nature that is accessible to almost everyone. We intend to secure funding so that we can pursue our dream of producing engaging yet friendly web sites for the general public, sites that will be carefully designed and constructed to expose young and old alike to the miracles of nature that are abundant in our surroundings. We also plan to partner with other nature-oriented not-for-profits on a variety of related educational projects, in order to more fully share our unique media and our diverse creative talents.
Ours is an artful and personal approach that will be friendly and accessible to all—we are more concerned with inspiring awe and wonder of nature than we are in conveying facts, although our team includes experts in natural history and our creations will be accompanied by relevant and accurate factual information.
